Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician, you play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across the facility by maintaining, repairing, and supporting equipment and systems. You work closely with production and leadership teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and support a safe and reliable manufacturing environment. Through your technical expertise and problem-solving skills, you help drive continuous improvement and ensure that maintenance activities align with quality and operational goals. $25.00 an hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with schedules and system requirements
• Repair, maintain, and support equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, prioritizing safe operations for personnel and equipment
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including hazard reporting and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Identify maintenance issues proactively and recommend solutions through appropriate communication channels
• Support production teams to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency
• Report all accidents, incidents, and injuries promptly to maintain a safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in maintenance or a related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, including basic plumbing systems
• Strong understanding of how maintenance activities support quality and operational objectives
• Working knowledge of advanced quality planning tools and methodologies, including flow charts, control plans, FMEA, and process instructions preferred
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet applicationsFamiliarity with document control processes and quality systems
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, EMS, and Quality Management System awareness requirements
• Understanding of industry standards related to quality and safety regulations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged standing, bending, and physical activity, including lifting or moving materials weighing up to 25-50 lbs., with sufficient strength and stamina to work safely in a manufacturing environment
