Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Set and wire switchgear, panels, VFDs, and control systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues including shorts, faulty motors, and automation system errors
Read and interpret blueprints, motor control schematics, and PLC logic diagrams
Retrofit outdated electrical systems with modern components
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and automated equipment
Ensure equipment is locked out/tagged out (LOTO) properly for safe servicing
Use tools such as multimeters, conduit benders, and rigging gear with skill and precision
What you bring
Experience in both residential and industrial electrical systems
Possess experience across a broad range of electrical installations and trouble shooting
Some exposure with PLCs and motor control circuits
Ability to manage or self perform on building, diagnosing and repairing motor control stations
Excellent conduit bending and wire pulling skills with an emphasis on craftsmanship
Capacity to troubleshoot electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other electromechanical equipment
Eagerness to learn and perform minor mechanical repairs (bearings, seals, etc.)
Willingness to work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated locations
Requirements
Must be or willing to become MSHA certified
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Ability to lift up to 75lbs, kneel, climb (up to 30 feet), and work in varying weather conditions
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in heavy industrial or stone manufacturing settings (preferred)
