Hands-On Electrical Maintenance Opportunity in a Stable Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Electrical Maintenance Technician to support industrial machinery, electrical systems, production equipment, and facility maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industrial electrical maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a desire to grow with a stable manufacturing team. Recent graduates from an accredited skilled trades or technical school are also encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will help maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support a variety of industrial machines, electrical equipment, production systems, and facility-related equipment. This role requires a safety-focused individual who can work independently, follow established procedures, and complete assigned work accurately and on time.

Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery, production equipment, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine the need for adjustment, repair, or replacement
  • Dismantle, repair, construct, or reassemble machines, equipment, and facility components
  • Replace defective parts or repair/reproduce parts using various metal materials
  • Assemble and test operate machines to verify proper repair and functionality
  • Perform preventive and ongoing maintenance on equipment and systems
  • Complete electrical work and assignments with or without electrical drawings
  • Run electrical circuits, bend conduit, and wire into breaker boxes and switchgear
  • Run and bend copper to connect rectifiers
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on rectifiers
  • Follow Arc Flash standards and all required safety procedures
  • Maintain and lubricate machine tools and equipment
  • Use welding skills as needed
  • Complete required paperwork, job cards, work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately and on time
  • Report equipment, production, safety, or quality issues to supervisors promptly
  • Support training of new employees when requested
  • Promote teamwork, quality workmanship, and a positive work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience performing electrical work in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Basic electrical experience
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing or production environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer
  • No current or future need for immigration sponsorship

Education and Experience

  • Associate-level opportunity
  • Minimum of 1 year of related industrial, electrical, mechanical, or maintenance experience preferred
  • Recent graduates from an accredited skilled trades or technical school are encouraged to apply
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Vocational, technical, or skilled trades training is preferred
  • Equivalent education and experience will be considered

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with plating processes and DC currents is highly desirable
  • Experience working with rectifiers
  • Experience with conduit bending, switchgear, breaker boxes, electrical circuits, and industrial wiring
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
  • Welding experience
  • Preventive maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with Arc Flash safety standards
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
