    Job Summary:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>

    The Maintenance Technician<\/span> <\/span>(<\/span>Electromechanical<\/span>)<\/span> <\/span><\/span>is responsible for<\/span> <\/span><\/span>maintaining<\/span>, troubleshooting, repairing, and <\/span><\/span>optimizing<\/span> <\/span>the integrated electromechanical systems that power <\/span><\/span>the<\/span> <\/span>structural steel fabrication and secondary components manufacturing operations. This position supports the reliability and performance of advanced manufacturing equipment by diagnosing and resolving issues involving mechanical components, industrial electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, <\/span><\/span>robotics, sensors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and automated production controls.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, the Electromechanical Maintenance Technician performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical production assets<\/span>, i<\/span>ncluding CNC machinery, robotic welding systems, automated material handling equipment, overhead cranes, and production support systems<\/span>, <\/span><\/span>to maximize equipment uptime, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and ensure safe, efficient manufacturing operations.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>

    • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, automated systems, and facility support equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Diagnose and repair failures involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and control systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Troubleshoot integrated equipment issues involving multiple systems rather than treating mechanical and electrical problems independently.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Repair and replace bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts, sprockets, couplings, shafts, seals, motors, cylinders, valves, pumps, actuators, sensors, switches, and related components.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Perform equipment alignment, leveling, calibration, adjustment, and operational testing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Maintain and troubleshoot robotic welding systems, automated production equipment, and PLC-controlled manufacturing machinery.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Diagnose automation faults involving sensors, relays, contactors, encoders, servomotors, safety circuits, HMIs, VFDs, and communication devices.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Support PLC fault diagnostics and <\/span>identify <\/span>input/output or device-related failures.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Troubleshoot variable-frequency drives, motor-control circuits, safety interlocks, and HMI alarms.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Assist <\/span>with robot recovery, fault identification, calibration, program restart, and production startup within the scope of training and authorization.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Work with Engineering, equipment vendors, and technical support personnel to resolve complex equipment and software-related issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical power transmission systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Repair mechanical assemblies and <\/span>assist <\/span>with fabrication or modification of replacement components.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Use precision measuring tools to confirm tolerances, alignment, and equipment condition.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Support lubrication programs and mechanical preventive maintenance requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits using schematics, gauges, and diagnostic tools.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Repair or replace pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, regulators, filters, hoses, fittings, and seals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Identify <\/span>pressure, flow, contamination, leakage, and component-failure issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Maintain hydraulic power units and <\/span><\/span>compressed-air<\/span> <\/span>systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and service activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Assist <\/span>with installation, relocation, startup, and commissioning of new or existing equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Support machine upgrades, retrofits, guarding improvements, and equipment modifications.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Accurately document maintenance work, inspections, repairs, downtime, failure causes, and parts used.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • Assist <\/span>with organizing maintenance parts, tools, manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>

    • Communicate equipment status, repair progress, and operational concerns to Production and Maintenance leadership.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>

    • <\/span><\/span><\/span>Other duties as assigned.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>Qualifications:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>Minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, fabrication, automation, or a related environment preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Experience<\/span> <\/span>troubleshooting integrated electromechanical systems <\/span>required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Experience <\/span>maintaining <\/span>automated production equipment, robotics, CNC equipment, or heavy manufacturing machinery preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Experience in structural steel fabrication, metal manufacturing, welding operations, or similar industrial environments preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Experience working independently during equipment breakdowns and production emergencies <\/span>required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Education: High school diploma or GED <\/span>required; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance, <\/span>electromechanical technology, or related field a plus.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Ability to <\/span>diagnose complex failures involving <\/span><\/span>interacting<\/span> <\/span>mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Proficiency <\/span>in the use of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, meters, and diagnostic equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Must be able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, and pneumatic diagrams.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Ability <\/span>to communicate technical information clearly to operators, supervisors, engineers, and vendors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Ability to adapt <\/span>to changing schedules and production priorities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li><\/ul>Physical Requirements:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/div>Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work from elevated platforms.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with mechanical lifting equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Work in confined spaces and around moving equipment while following established safety procedures.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating equipment and handling supplies.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toe footwear, fall protection, and respiratory protection when <\/span>required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>Work Schedule:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

    <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>Monday-Friday, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>4:00 <\/span>PM - <\/span>12:00 <\/span><\/span>AM<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>,<\/span> <\/span>extended <\/span>hours may be <\/span>required <\/span>based on workload and project deadlines.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/li>Depending on production needs, s<\/span><\/span><\/span>ome weekend work may be <\/span>required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
