This Maintenance Technician role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC production equipment and facility machinery to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. The position plays a key role in preventative maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and minimizing downtime while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Job Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC production equipment and facility machinery.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC and gantry-style equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot OEM machine controllers, including Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Heidenhain controls.
- Support machine uptime and reliability through maintenance best practices.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting numerical controls and PLC-related issues.
- Follow all applicable safety regulations, standards, and maintenance procedures.
- Complete maintenance documentation and routine reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience maintaining CNC machines and/or gantry machinery.
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Heidenhain machine controls.
- Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills.
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance instructions, and safety procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of basic mathematical concepts including geometry, trigonometry, ratios, percentages, and measurements.
