Pro Resources is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for a client in Elkhart, IN. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the continuous operation of production machinery. This involves maintaining equipment that applies films or coatings to substrates such as overlays and wood using heat, pressure, and adhesives. Shift and Compensation
2nd Shift Sunday-Thursday 4 PM-3 AM + OT on Fridays
Compensation is from 58,240 USD to 74,880 USD per year
Job Duties
Prioritize equipment breakdowns as effectively as possible per department requests and calls
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laminators, hot-melts and saw equipment but not limited to roll coaters, and thermal laminators.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues all while adhering to LOTO regulations.
Fabricate parts for special projects, parts or repairs needed
Organize tooling and maintenance equipment by managing Inventory
In/Out put part numbers
Cycle count
Make Tags for all parts
Use Upkeep to identify parts (machine, electrical, pneumatic, universal, etc.)
Maintain compliance with Upkeep program for all work order reports
Respond to any facility/ground’s repairs per need
Background Profile
Ability to self-start and stay focused.
Operating a forklift may be required
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and handling hazardous chemicals/adhesives.
Documenting/Recording Data.
Communicating with production leaders and peers
Adhere to all safety and PPE production policies
Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities.
Work as a team to achieve the specific goal set by Plant Leaders
