    Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment and keeping operations running at their best? Parker LORD is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production, laboratory, and maintenance areas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to apply their mechanical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for calibrating, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, water, air, and mechanical equipment. This role supports critical equipment used throughout the facility and may also occasionally perform lubrication, carpentry, welding, and electrical duties.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Calibrate and inspect a wide variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment used in production, laboratory, and maintenance areas.

    • Perform mechanical repairs on pneumatic, steam, air, water, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems and complete repairs on a wide range of manufacturing equipment.

    • Maintain and repair equipment such as mixers, rubber mills, extruders, and complex automated presses.

    • Read, understand, and apply complex mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.

    • Support maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and mechanical processing systems.

    • Occasionally perform minor welding, carpentry, lubrication, and electrical work.

    • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment, including hearing protection.

    • Support equipment reliability, production uptime, and continuous improvement efforts.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.

    • Ability to calibrate, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.

    • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, water, air, and mechanical processing systems.

    • Ability to read and understand complex mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.

    • Ability to diagnose sophisticated equipment issues and perform demanding repairs in a manufacturing environment.

    • Ability to wear hearing protection and work safely in a production setting.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience maintaining equipment such as mixers, rubber mills, extruders, and automated presses.

    • Basic welding, carpentry, lubrication, or electrical experience.

    • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

    • Experience supporting preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, or continuous improvement activities.

    Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, dependable maintenance professional with strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem solving. They are comfortable working with complex equipment, able to interpret technical drawings and schematics, and committed to supporting reliable, efficient manufacturing operations.
