Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting plant efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Evansville, IN

Pay Range:  Starting at $20/hr based on experience

Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm

What's the Job?

• Repair and maintain all plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, production equipment, etc.
• Adjust and replace parts in machines or equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Inspect all machinery and equipment regularly for potential issues
• Order parts for machinery and equipment as needed
• Fabricate new equipment when necessary and install new machinery or equipment

What's Needed?

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machinery problems efficiently
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety protocols
• Experience with total productive maintenance (TPM) tasks
• Understanding of lockout-tagout procedures and emergency response actions
• Willingness to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members
• HVAC and Forklift Maintenance
