    Overview
    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Complete preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and electronic equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns involving molding machines, extruders, grinders, chillers, temperature controllers, conveyors, and other industrial machinery.
    • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement effective repairs.
    • Read and interpret technical documents, equipment specifications, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
    • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors to complete facility projects and specialized repairs when needed.
    • Document completed work, maintenance activity, and job reports in the computerized maintenance management system.
    • Follow established safety, service, and quality standards while completing all maintenance assignments.
    • Support production operations by responding promptly to equipment issues and helping minimize downtime.

    Qualification

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a closely related field.
    • Experience maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
    • Working electrical knowledge; stronger electrical troubleshooting experience is preferred.
    • Industrial maintenance experience is required; facility-only maintenance experience is not sufficient.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work with automated equipment; experience with programmable logic controllers is a plus.
    • NFPA 70E certification or willingness to obtain the certification.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and equipment specifications.
    • Demonstrated reliability and stable tenure in previous positions.
