CNC Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
A growing manufacturing operation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support plant equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong industrial maintenance experience and the ability to work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, drill presses, conveyors, and other production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Repair or replace motors, pumps, bearings, belts, valves, and related machine components.
Assist with machine alignment, leveling, calibration, setup, and startup activities.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and parts inventory documentation.
Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout, and internal safety procedures at all times.
Support larger repairs, installations, and additional plant maintenance needs as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of mills, lathes, drill presses, and machining equipment.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain an industrial power truck license.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
Preferred Skills
Basic PLC troubleshooting experience.
Forklift or aerial lift certification.
Experience with maintenance management systems.
6+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
