What You’ll Do

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production, support, and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
Monitor and support feed quality and process improvements
Operate and maintain manufacturing and batching equipment
Track and document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
Interpret and work with automation systems and control panels
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs
Manage spare parts inventory and order replacement components
Assist with maintenance budgeting and capital planning
Prepare monthly maintenance and feed quality reports
Support production and inventory operations as needed
Ensure compliance with safety standards, biosecurity, and regulatory requirements
 

What You Bring

Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, etc.)
Experience with troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
Familiarity with feed mill operations, grains, or feed manufacturing (preferred)
Understanding of SOPs, HACCP, GMPs, and quality standards (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret data, diagrams, and technical systems
Solid computer skills (spreadsheets, maintenance systems, databases)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Welding and fabrication skills (a plus)
 

Physical & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
Work in environments with dust, noise, temperature changes, and industrial equipment
May require weekends, after-hours work, and occasional travel
Education & Experience
Technical degree in industrial maintenance, feed manufacturing, or related field
OR equivalent hands-on experience
