Description for Maintenance Technician:
- Execute routine preventative maintenance schedules and perform basic mechanical repairs on active production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems under the guidance of senior maintenance technicians.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
- Assist with motor, sensor, relay, and control circuit diagnostics to minimize production downtime.
- Strictly enforce facility safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during all repair tasks.
- Maintain clean, orderly equipment logs, track replacement parts, and assist with machine rigging or equipment moves as needed.
Details for Maintenance Technician:
- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.00 / hour (Scaling cleanly based on Depth of Experience / DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (Enjoy a consistent weekday core routine with your weekends completely free!).
- Shift Hours: Full-Time Day Shift (Exact start and end times TBD, scheduled between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Location: Pierce County, WA facility.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term industry stability.
Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- Strong mechanical aptitude paired with proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow detailed technical work instructions.
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as safe hand and power tool operation.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
- Preferred background: Prior forklift certification/experience, machine rigging experience, and familiarity with motors, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
- Physical capability to handle active maintenance labor, bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing around equipment.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation habits.
