• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 5 months (with possible extension)
• Pay Rate: $30.00 $32.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM; some emergency overtime may be available
• Travel Requirements: Candidate will travel to different sites within a 30 70 mile radius

Job Summary

As a Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The candidate will be traveling to different sites within a 30 70 mile radius performing preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs; manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information; respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
• Conduct building inspections.
• Perform general building maintenance.
• Perform light plumbing.
• Perform light electrical work.

• Commercial HVAC experience
• Any advanced maintenance skills
• iOS experience

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required; trade school preferred.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal EPA License required
• Valid Driver's License required

Required Experience

• 5 7 years of job-related experience required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Candidate must live within a 30-mile radius of the Northern KY / Ohio work area.
• Travel to different sites within a 30 70 mile radius is required.
• Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Background check including drug screen and MVR (motor vehicle record) required.
• Some emergency overtime may be available.
• Independent work environment.

Important Notes

• This role is covering for a medical leave. Conversion to permanent employment is possible only if the candidate currently on leave does not return to work.
• Interview process: 1st round phone screen; 2nd round virtual (Microsoft Teams).
