We are seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Food Service Industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various kitchen equipment, including ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with a focus on EPA Refrigeration.

Job Details

As a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the buildings does not deteriorate.

2. Inspecting, operating, or testing machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

3. Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

4. Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassembling equipment.

5. Maintaining and repairing specialized equipment and machinery found in kitchens, cafeterias, and dining facilities.

6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

7. Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

8. Complying with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Maintenance Technician, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the food service industry, specifically with repair, technician, oven, dishwasher, EPA Refrigeration, EPA, Refrigeration, Refrigerator.

2. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.

3. EPA Refrigeration certification is a must.

4. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. High attention to detail and a focus on quality.

8. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

9. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus.
