Description

Our Lady of Hope/St. Luke School is seeking a qualified, full‑time Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient, and welcoming operation of our school campus for the 2026–2027 academic year. Under general direction of the Facilities Manager, the full-time Facilities Maintenance will oversee the maintenance of the building. This includes the primary fields of electrical. heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, plumbing, etc. This is a 12‑month position with scheduled hours of 7:30 AM–3:30 PM.

Essential Functions

  • Performs basic and routine maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
  • Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, and carpentry, installation of fixtures and moving furniture or materials within the facilities.
  • Maintaining organization in Facilities spaces.
  • Consistently communicating work progress or any problems to the Facilities Manager.
  • Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment and practicing safe work habits, including lock-out/tag-out.
  • Snow removal and other seasonal tasks, as required.
  • Assist with traffic control and parking as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned necessitated by school operations.

Position Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with no more than 3 current points.
  • A minimum of 5 years of commercial or institutional experience in the identified primary field.
  • Possession of journey-level certification.
  • Must be able to move furniture, equipment and other materials weighing up to and more than 100lbs.; to move about within very tight spaces where large and potentially dangerous equipment is stored; to operate various types of manual and power tools and automated systems; and to ascend/descend a ladder as needed.

Pay Range: $22.00, Hourly
