Maintenance Technician

Job Requirements

Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and musical instruments is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician to add to our growing facilities department. Our Maintenance Technician will work closely and collaboratively with all members of the facilities team to maintain our 185 acre campus, consisting of over 1 million square feet under roof. This position will be responsible for the general maintenance of our main campus, distribution center, and grounds throughout the campus. The right person for the job will have a diverse mind set and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with grounds keeping throughout 144 acre campus: Mowing, string, tree & hedge trimming, landscaping.
• Will need to operate mowers, various power tools, and equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Assist with construction project management/maintenance: Painting & wall repair
• Cubicle installation & remodels
• Floor installation & repair; commercial carpet, laminate, and ceramic tile.
• Commercial construction experience; metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling installs, FRP installation, and woodworking.
• Aid with mechanical projects around our campus: drain, sink, and toilet repairs
• Knowledge on kitchen equipment repairs
• Preventative maintenance and tool upkeep.

Shift:

Mon.- Friday 7am- 3:30pm.

Alternating weekly on-call schedule.
