Maintenance Technician

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our client’s team at (1) of their properties in Forth Worth, TX (76177). The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in residential maintenance with plumbing, electrical and HVAC, have experience with unit turns, have knowledge of basic maintenance, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. HVAC and CPO certification are required. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion) or direct hire for the right candidate.

Salary: $21-$22/hour DOQ. (90 days before conversion) or direct hire for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday – Friday standard daytime hours with availability to work weekends and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Completes work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Completes make readies
• Maintaining Property Grounds and common areas
• Preventative Maintenance
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop and other work areas
• Provide a parts and material list needed on a weekly basis
• Assist in coverage of emergency calls with other team members
• Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents, staff and vendors in a professional manner
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties and tasks assigned by manager

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree is a plus
• Valid Driver’s license is required
• EPA HVAC certified preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
