Summary:
As the fitness equipment technician you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining fitness equipment, with job duties including preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and safety assessments. You will also carry out minor building repairs and coordinate with management to prioritize repairs and maintenance at your assigned location(s).
Job Expectations:
- Ability to diagnose and repair all fitness equipment
- Ability to order parts from fitness equipment supplier
- Ability to responsibly handle cordless power tools
- Ability to mount racks, whiteboards, amenities to drywall
- Ability to carry out minor drywall/paint repairs
- Ability to unclog sinks and toilets
- Carry out scheduled maintenance
- Order upholstery repairs from local vendor
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of facility maintenance/construction or equivalent
- Part Time availability
- Ability to repeatedly bend and lift 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
