Where you can THRIVE!The Environmental Services Technician assists the Environmental Services Manager with the overall physical plant, environment, maintenance and cleanliness of the internal community building and external community grounds. Our communities function similar to a beautiful hotel or private club and this position ensures immaculate surroundings and exceptional customer service. The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service,utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:Responsibilities: Assist the housekeeping teamAssist with grounds and building maintenance projectsAssist with furniture movement for community event set-up and tear-down Assist to ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders are completed on a timelyand thorough basis, including, but not limited to, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning(HVAC), plumbing, electrical repairs, furniture and/or equipment repairs, picking up trash,keeping common areas neat, sweeping walks and curbs, watering lawn, trees, shrubs, andflowerbeds, shoveling walks, sanding and salting icy areasPerform other related work activities as neededQualifications: High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance field, preferably in the hospitality industry or a senior living community.Experience in carpet cleaning, floor care and painting projects strongly preferredAble to lift 50 poundsAble to walk, climb stairs, bend and squatAble to withstand external weather conditionsThe Waters is an equal opportunity employer proudly committed to a diverse workforce.
