The Full-Time Evening Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep throughout the property during evening hours. This role ensures all facilities, systems, and equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and in good repair to maintain a comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests during the evening shift.

  • Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.

  • Conduct routine inspections of public areas, mechanical rooms, and equipment.

  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks on guest rooms and building systems as assigned.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance work areas.

  • Report major maintenance needs or safety hazards to management.

  • Assist with emergency repairs or weather-related property needs.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

 

 

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: 
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation 
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
