We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of a wide range of equipment and systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and construction-related tasks. Responsibilities: Maintenance Technician:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Diagnose and repair issues related to appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs.
Conduct air conditioning system maintenance including filter replacements, refrigerant recharges, and system troubleshooting.
Lead or assist with construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation for all repairs and inspections.
Support team efforts by providing guidance on equipment repair procedures and safety protocols.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
Assist in training junior technicians or new team members on equipment operation and repair techniques.
Requirements: Maintenance Technician:
Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Experience in construction or facility maintenance is highly desirable.
Leadership qualities with the ability to guide team members during projects or repairs.
Proficiency in diagnosing issues related to air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and general equipment repair.
Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in maintenance operations.
