Maintenance Technician

Location: Garland, TX 75041
Status: Full-Time | Hourly

Pay Rate: $30-$33

Schedule: 2nd Shift: MondayFriday, 2:00 PM10:30 PM (must be flexible for overtime)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support production operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment setup in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems to ensure safe and efficient production. Candidates with boiler experience are highly preferred and should highlight this experience on their resume.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including fillers, pumps, conveyors, tanks, valves, cappers, HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and air compressors.

• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, servo drives, industrial networks, and robotic equipment.

• Set up, disassemble, reassemble, and adjust production filling and packaging equipment.

• Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs in the CMMS system.

• Perform MIG/TIG welding, electrical repairs, plumbing work, carpentry projects, and facility maintenance as needed.

• Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

• Follow all GMP, safety, food manufacturing, Lockout/Tagout, and company procedures.

• Support production teams to maximize equipment uptime and product quality.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.

• 12 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and automation systems.

• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting industrial equipment.

• MIG/TIG welding experience preferred.

• Familiarity with high-speed packaging or filling equipment is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work overtime, and perform physical maintenance tasks.
