Description

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 4 years of experience working with industrial automation, automotive shop equipment, automotive/aerospace assembly equipment, or equivalent
  • Strong electrical (12VDC to 480VAC) and mechanical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of robotics, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, vehicle lifts, and DC tooling
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to read 2D and 3D prints and schematics
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Desire to work with a small, flexible team of engineers and technicians
  • Experience with CMMS software (SAP desired)
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and development of preventative maintenance procedures and standards under the supervision of the Equipment and Maintenance Manager
  • Work with equipment vendors to perform major maintenance procedures
  • Perform or manage the maintenance on all vehicle assembly equipment
  • Respond to downtime events, equipment alarms, and production-related support requests
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment and quality-related issues
  • Build solutions to recurring or anticipated problems
  • Order tools, spare parts, and supplies for maintenance of existing and future equipment
  • Train production staff on equipment best practices
  • Document equipment changes and modifications
  • Willingness to support multiple local operations sites (Hayward and Fremont)
