MAU is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our client Rolls Royce Solutions America in Graniteville, SC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED Completion of an apprenticeship or training program 3 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance

Preferred Education and Experience

Associates degree in Mechanical Electrical or Industrial Maintenance 5 years of relevant maintenance experience Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturing Familiarity with Rolls Royce Solutions America products, policies, and procedures

General Requirements

• Intermediate skills in welding, pipe fitting, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, carpentry, and tool room machines • Intermediate mechanical skills including mechanical electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, carpentry, and production machine repair • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Intermediate understanding of OSHA safety regulations • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, quality control, and production optimization • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layouts • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite

Essential Functions

• Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment • Conduct emergency and scheduled maintenance and repairs during and outside of production • Execute unskilled and semi-skilled manual work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment • Complete daily or scheduled preventative maintenance of equipment, tooling, and racks • Diagnose and repair issues in manufacturing and facility equipment • Maintain working knowledge of plant facilities and equipment • Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance • Advise operators and line mechanics on safe mechanical operation procedures • Notify management and team of potential equipment issues or hazards • Perform general maintenance, facility repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment installations • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas in compliance with safety regulations • Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance improvements and schedules • Assist with special projects and support other maintenance and production areas as needed • Promote and uphold the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct

Working Conditions

• Work performed in a manufacturing facility environment • Physical demands: must be able to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted; meet physical requirements as needed for maintenance tasks, e.g., standing, lifting, operating equipment.
