Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining production equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and committed to supporting continuous production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production equipment and identify mechanical issues.
• Repair or replace mechanical components as needed to maintain equipment performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning and changing filters on pumps, drives, and other equipment.
• Lubricate equipment through routine greasing and oiling procedures.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and facility improvement projects.
• Support preventive maintenance (PM) programs for production lines and machinery.
• Complete maintenance records, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Technical school diploma, certificate, associate degree, or equivalent maintenance-related training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, safety procedures, blueprints, and operating instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic working knowledge of industrial equipment, pumps, drives, and production machinery.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in completing maintenance documentation and reports.
