BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at a multifamily community in Greenfield, Indiana (46140). Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with apartment maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to complete work orders efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and help ensure the property remains safe, functional, and attractive for residents.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine and emergency maintenance work orders
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related issues
• Repair and maintain appliances as needed
• Perform drywall, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks
• Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the community
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Maintain property standards and resident satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair preferred
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Own tools required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and materials as needed
• Ability to work a full-time schedule and complete assigned tasks safely
