A leading electrical/electronic manufacturer is hiring a skilled, Journeyman-level Maintenance Technician for their Greenfield, IN facility. This role is responsible for the hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of critical production machinery, including hydraulic/pneumatic presses and related industrial equipment. What You'll Own
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in hydraulic and pneumatic presses, conveyor systems, and assembly machinery.
- Perform electrical repairs, PLC troubleshooting, and basic diagnostic checks.
- Dismantle, inspect, and adjust mechanical devices and control instruments to keep equipment running smoothly.
- Set up and operate machine shop tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate or repair critical parts.
- Perform manual arc welding tasks for equipment and structural maintenance.
- Review safety manuals, operating documentation, and basic assembly drawings to execute complex repairs safely.
What You'll Bring
- MUST possess a valid, verifiable Journeyman's card in an approved electrical or mechanical trade.
- 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic press systems.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from basic technical assembly drawings and execute PLC-level diagnostics.
- Practical experience with arc welding and operating metalworking machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, grinders).
- Ability to meet physical demands, including working around moving machinery and occasionally lifting up to 50–100 lbs.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Nice to Have
- Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Electronics, or equivalent trade school education.
- Previous maintenance experience specifically within electrical/electronic manufacturing environments.
