Job Description
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems per PPI’s preventative maintenance program requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on machinery and all building auxiliary equipment
- Install, maintain and upgrade production equipment and building infrastructure
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner; these breakdowns may occur during production hours or off schedule hours
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventory (Maintenance Supervisor)
- Assist in developing and improving maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance program
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, any production equipment and diagnostic instruments safely and effectively
- Any other tasks assigned by the Production/Process manager
- Assist, as needed, in other areas of the manufacturing plant
