Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $35-40/hr based on shift and experience level.

Shift Availability: 1 ^st and 2 ^nd shift available. Ten hour shifts Monday through Thursday.

Professional Summary / Core Responsibilities

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance routines, inspections, and system checks across plant machinery and facility infrastructure to maximize equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.
• Multi-Craft Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, resolve, and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues across production machinery.
• Electrical Safety & High Voltage: Safely troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial electrical components up to 480 VAC in full compliance with safety codes.
• Schematics & Technical Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics, mechanical drawings, and work instructions to guide precision repairs and installation projects.
• CMMS & Work Order Management: Log, track, and document completed work orders, preventative maintenance schedules, and machine performance histories using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Root Cause Analysis & Fabrication: Support continuous improvement efforts by performing failure diagnostics, implementing long-term corrective solutions, and custom-fabricating replacement components as needed.
• Facility Maintenance & Contractor Support: Oversee core plant utilities (compressed air, HVAC, lighting, plumbing) and partner with external contractors and production units for major installations and overhauls.
• Equipment Handling & Safety Operations: Safely operate material handling gear including forklifts, aerial/scissor lifts, and overhead cranes while enforcing strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), 5S, and housekeeping protocols.

• Electrical & Automation: Industrial Electrical (up to 480 VAC), Control Systems, PLC/Ladder Logic Troubleshooting & Programming.
• Mechanical & Fluid Power: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Drive Systems, Precision Component Fabrication, Machining.
• Machinery Experience: CNC Equipment, Laser Cutters, Press Brakes, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Overhead Cranes.
• Systems & Software: CMMS Software, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Schematic Interpretation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
