This position is based at our Hickman, KY facility, with a starting hourly rate of $26.30. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for four quarterly bonus incentives and an additional annual bonus tied to overall business performance. This position must be willing to work varying shifts.

Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician you will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in support of a 24/7/365 manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for executing all maintenance processes to ensure reliable equipment performance and to support the site's business goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment breakdowns during production and complete scheduled preventive maintenance during planned downtime.
- Apply skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance, service, and repairs.
- Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair defective parts, test functionality, and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic instruments, and material-handling equipment.
- Identify and report abnormal equipment conditions, faulty operations, or defective materials to proper supervision.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout, and keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard‑free.
- Operate mobile equipment, including but not limited to aerial lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, skid steers, and excavators, as required for maintenance activities.
- Fabricate metal repairs, patch piping.
- Ability to work in environments that may be hot, dusty, or dirty due to carbon materials and operations.
- Work nights, weekends, overtime, and respond to call‑ins as required to support production and maintenance needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience in an industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment with the use of hand and power tools (experience in mechanical, electrical, automotive repair, construction, carpentry, or other similar environments will be considered).
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Experience working in heavy industrial environments.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Basic computer skills
Competencies:
- Strong technical, mechanical, and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- Understanding and experience with general safety regulations such as confined space, lock out/tag out, ARC flash, and fall protection.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, safety information, and work orders.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly in all forms.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and move or maneuver up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work comfortably at different heights.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Must be willing to cross-train and flex back into areas where you have demonstrated competency.
