Position Summary

As part of the Sea Pines Resort team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the high standards of excellence that have made us one of the most iconic and celebrated resorts in the Lowcountry.

This role is responsible for maintaining guest rooms, homes, villas, restaurants, golf facilities, pools, and public areas to the highest standards while supporting safe and exceptional guest experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain all resort assets to Sea Pines standards of excellence
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs across all property areas
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and mechanical systems
• Respond promptly to service requests with professionalism and urgency
• Execute work with high craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Safely use tools, equipment, and maintenance systems
• Assist with projects, storm preparation, and emergency response
• Identify and report potential issues proactively
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a part of a team

Guest Experience & Service Culture

• Deliver hospitality aligned with Sea Pines service standards
• Interact professionally with guests and homeowners
• Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance
• Minimize disruption in guest-facing environments

Safety & Compliance

• Follow OSHA standards and resort safety procedures
• Always use proper PPE and safe work practices
• Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas
• Participate in safety training and initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred in resort or similar setting
• Working knowledge of multiple trades required
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Must have valid driver's license

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment

Work Environment

• Resort-wide responsibilities across indoor and outdoor spaces
• Exposure to heat, humidity, and coastal weather conditions
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
