Maintenance Technician - Day Shift
A Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment, machinery, facilities, and energy equipment to keep production operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment problems.
Inspect machinery and identify worn, damaged, or defective components.
Repair or replace bearings, belts, hoses, motors, pumps, valves, fittings, and other components.
Work on compressors, rotating equipment, pumps, motors, and manufacturing equipment.
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
Assist with installation, relocation, modification, and repair of machinery.
Perform facility maintenance as required.
Follow preventive-maintenance schedules and document completed work.
Maintain and troubleshoot compressed-air systems and other plant utilities.
Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting where qualified.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
Work with production, fabrication, engineering, and other maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
Follow quality, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
Experience with hand tools, basic machinery, equipment/facility upkeep, filters, air hoses, electrical cords up to 110 V, safety procedures, manufacturing experience, and 5S.

Skills/Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or technical/vocational training.
Industrial maintenance or mechanical experience.
Ability to read equipment manuals, drawings, and basic schematics.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of hand and power tools.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance.
Electrical troubleshooting experience is beneficial.
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience is beneficial.
Welding/fabrication experience is beneficial.
Forklift, crane, rigging, or other industrial-equipment experience is beneficial.
Strong safety awareness, including LOTO.
Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
