Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of industrial equipment and systems within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and electrical systems, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of our manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
Conduct equipment repairs utilizing welding skills, precision measuring instruments, and appropriate tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
Diagnose electrical problems involving low voltage, high voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical systems to restore optimal operation.
Operate field service equipment including scissor lifts and other industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Support installation projects, upgrades, and modifications to enhance equipment performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and develop long-term solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical diagnostics, HVAC/R systems, welding procedures, and other maintenance activities.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing internal department needs promptly and professionally.
Skills

Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial mechanics.
Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and related troubleshooting techniques.
Skilled in operating scissor lifts and other industrial lifting equipment safely.
Ability to read schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and electrical maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
Competence in welding techniques including welding as applicable.
Knowledge of low voltage systems alongside high voltage safety protocols.
Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters effectively.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial electrician work and general equipment repair.
Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex system issues quickly.
Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
