MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day upkeep and preventative maintenance of all facilities, property, and equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring a safe, well‑maintained, and welcoming environment for guests and team members by responding to maintenance needs promptly and professionally. Starting Pay: $22.00

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably within commercial, hospitality, or facilities environments.

• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Valid driver's license required.

• Ability to properly operate and maintain tools and equipment used in grounds and maintenance work.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely in a busy, interruptive environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read, write, and follow simple instructions, diagrams, or work orders.

• Ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment used in general maintenance and repair work.

• Strong problem-solving‑ ability and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure and in a fast‑paced, interruptive environment.

• Knowledge of maintenance safety practices, including PPE usage and hazard recognition.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors.

• Exposure to varied temperatures, weather conditions, fumes, chemicals, and confined areas.

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout all facilities and exterior property areas.

• Maintain, repair, and replace equipment related to the gaming floor to ensure safe and reliable operations.

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to help minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities.

• Demonstrate working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, alarm systems, and generators.

• Complete maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, and other facility‑related projects as assigned.

• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and address issues effectively while prioritizing safety.

• Promote a safe and secure environment for all guests and team members by following established safety procedures.

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests and coworkers.

• Develop a working knowledge of all facilities, amenities, and entertainment offerings available to guests.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support property operations.
