General Statement of Duties

Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a person for a part-time position as a Maintenance Tech I. The position will mainly perform routine maintenance work cleaning the restrooms, and parking lots. Work performed would be things such as blowing, litter/limb pickup, sweeping, mopping, weed-eating, trash removal, mulching and cleaning and sanitizing the restrooms and emptying trash cans. Position will perform duties working independently and with limited supervision. Position will have regularly contact with the public and performing various projects using a variety of equipment including tractors, blowers and various handheld power tools.

Work Schedule:

March - November: Sunday-Wednesday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

November - February: Sunday-Wednesday 5 hours per day.

Minimum Education and Experience
