This is an advanced maintenance position designed for technicians who can work independently, diagnose complex equipment failures, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts throughout our manufacturing operations.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and improving manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision. This position plays a critical role in maximizing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting production through advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Successful candidates possess strong electro-mechanical knowledge, exceptional diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of:
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Motors and motor controls
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase electrical systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic prints, and mechanical drawings.
Experience performing welding and fabrication repairs.
Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proficiency using precision measuring tools and maintenance hand tools.
High School Diploma or GED.
