Position Purpose:
Responsible for facility, grounds, and equipment repairs. Develop preventative maintenance programs on all equipment. Maintain and identify tool crib stocking levels. Knowledge of OSHA procedures and possess excellent problem-solving skills necessary to maintain an orderly work facility.
Essential Functions:
Develops, monitors and implements preventative maintenance programs on all work centers and equipment using current maintenance PC operating system.
Troubleshoots all equipment problems. Identifies areas of improvement to reduce downtime and improves efficiency.
Assists in maintaining tool crib stock levels. Maintain neat and orderly tool and maintenance areas.
Participate as a member of the Safety Committee and 5-S areas
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Maintain regular attendance.
Ability to work irregular schedules to include overtime.
Education and Training
Associates degree or equivalent of two years relevant experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing setting involving welding, fabricating and assembly preferred.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing metal burning and forming equipment preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of OSHA, EPA, NPPA and NEC.
Ability to prioritized tasks with an importance to SAFETY and PRODUCTION.
Computer literate; able to rapidly learn PLC and Maintenance programs.
Ability to function in a team environment and as a TEAM PLAYER
