Are you looking for an opportunity to continue to enhance your skills while working? Do you have a desire to be part of a maintenance team working on commercial and muti-unit residential properties from turn-of-the-century to brand new structures? If YES, then we are looking for you!! We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join our Maintenance Team. Normal work hours are M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm with some on call and snow removal hours.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete daily assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform minor building, electrical, painting and plumbing repairs.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently, demonstrate quality work and follow defined procedures while following through completion of tasks to meet established deadlines.
- Demonstrate ability to interact effectively and in a business-like manner with other staff members, tenants, residents, service workers, and others
Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess a valid drivers’ license and pass mandatory drug testing, background investigation, and physical ability screening.
- Previous experience in maintenance preferred
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- High school or equivalent / Vocational Education preferred
