The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep of buildings and facilities, including scheduled maintenance, work orders, and safety checks for systems such as pools, HVAC, and boilers. Duties may include painting, equipment cleaning, and performing basic electrical and plumbing tasks to maintain facility standards.
The salary for this position starts at $23.00 hourly. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of a District Engineer, the Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the preventative/predictive maintenance program, general building safety/security, and safe, efficient operation of building systems. The MTI will be responsible for day-to-day duties including daily check lists and work orders, both scheduled and unscheduled.

This position reports to the District Engineer who reports to the Vice President of Facility Services. The incumbent interacts regularly with branch departments in responding to member concerns regarding maintenance issues.
