Maintenance Technician I

Summary:

• Location: San Diego, CA
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Employment Type: Contract (Temp-to-Perm Potential)

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Afinion analyzers.
• Perform instrument calibration and performance verification to ensure equipment operates reliably.
• Identify and resolve technical issues affecting instrument functionality.
• Support manufacturing operations and post-market service activities.
• Document repair activities, troubleshooting steps, and service results accurately.
• Follow established quality procedures and documentation requirements.
• Ensure repaired instruments meet applicable performance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support timely repairs and service delivery.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 0 years of experience in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, or a related technical field.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical repair procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions, document work accurately, and comply with quality requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience repairing, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment or instruments.
• Experience with calibration, testing, or performance verification.
• Exposure to manufacturing, laboratory equipment, medical devices, or quality-controlled environments.
