Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Technician I repairs and performs maintenance on various food plant equipment, systems, and related machinery panels.
Troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment, systems, and related machinery panels.
Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools to facilitate work.
Works on fabricating necessary parts as needed.
Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Five plus years of experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of electrical components and wiring.
Knowledge of electrical trouble shooting up to 480v.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Skills and Competencies:
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Ability to work from extended heights.
Ability to work on elevated platforms
