Responsibilities Verifies Preventative Maintenance work orders are properly matched to the equipment in the area.Follow through for accurate Countermeasures on Major Breakdown Reports Ensures adequate spare parts are available Manages any ongoing projects in the departmentInteracts with Vendors and Contractors for related work in the DepartmentUnderstanding and implementation of a safe work environmentSchedules shutdown work with PlannersAssists with creation of One Point Lessons and Standard Operating Procedures for tasks necessary for more efficient repair and troubleshootingEnsures that department is kept in a clean 5s standardWorks closely with Maintenance Supervisor on communicating work load and recommended improvementsRequires On Call availability Knowledge and Skills Technical/analytic skillsEffective written/oral communicationGood working knowledge of computer applications Education and Experience High School Diploma 5-8 years related experience including good working knowledge of PLC's, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
