Maintenance Technician II

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 7 pm
Expected Hours 40+

Our client is a food manufacturer that is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join their maintenance department. This person will complete preventive maintenance and independently troubleshoot and repair production equipment to reduce downtime.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on production machinery and supporting equipment.
* Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify the cause of failure, and coordinate repairs with production to restore safe operations.
* Perform and document preventive maintenance independently
* Support thermoforming machines, extruders and sheet lines, pre-heaters, trim presses and cutting dies, and related utilities such as vacuum systems, chillers, grinders, and compressors


* Must have 3-7 years of industrial maintenance experience
* Must have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Must be able to read mechanical schematics and technical manuals and complete work orders independently
* Working knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and basic root cause analysis.
