Maintenance Technician II (Charlton MA)

Position Summary:The Maintenance Technician II Region 3 Charlton MA will perform maintenance related duties in order to insure the proper operation and maintenance of assigned water or wastewater facilities.Hiring Requirements:High School diploma or general education degree (GED).Education or background in water and/or wastewater treatment or supporting technical field (Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical).3 to 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred or 3 to 5 years in a regulated industry.Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to water/wastewater treatment plant troubleshooting, operation and maintenance, hazardous material handling, storage or containment.Ability to read, interpret and utilize information found in blueprints, schematics, technical manuals diagrams and equipment specifications.Basic knowledge of MA Water/Wastewater regulatory requirementsMust be computer literate.Must possess a valid MA 2B Hoisting License or be capable of obtaining one within 6 months.OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training). Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen. Valid US Driver's License.
