  • First Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM Flexible

  • Second Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM Preferred

  • Monday through Friday

  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs

Position Overview

We are seeking a Depot Repair Technician II to join our onsite depot repair operation in Clinton, PA. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, and testing electronic and electromechanical devices.

The technician will receive devices, diagnose hardware and software-related issues, perform necessary repairs or component replacements, and complete final testing to ensure the equipment is fully functional.

This is a hands-on technical role where every device may present a different issue. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and experience with electronics, equipment repair, troubleshooting, assembly, or other transferable technical skills.

Candidates with backgrounds in electronics, biomedical equipment, IT hardware, mechanical repair, maintenance, or similar technical fields are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming devices to identify required repairs, upgrades, or damage.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, hardware, and software-related issues.

  • Repair devices by replacing or repairing circuit boards, mechanical subassemblies, and discrete components.

  • Perform component-level and assembly-level repairs as required.

  • Refurbish equipment by replacing worn or damaged components and cleaning exterior covers.

  • Perform final functional testing of repaired and refurbished devices.

  • Document incoming and outgoing equipment using software applications such as Oracle, Tulip, and Microsoft Office.

  • Maintain accurate repair records, service documentation, and parts usage records.

  • Follow established repair procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.

  • Meet established productivity, quality, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Work independently while collaborating with team members when needed.

  • Support Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve repair processes and overall efficiency.

  • Comply with applicable ISO 14001 and internal Environmental Management System requirements.

  • Work overtime and weekends when required by business needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Degree or educational background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • At least 6 months of hands-on repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, or technical experience preferred.

  • Experience repairing electronic devices, equipment, machinery, or related products.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to understand and work with both hardware and software components.

  • Ability to use basic hand tools and technical equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the medical device, biomedical, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing industry.

  • Medical device repair or depot repair experience.

  • Experience with bench repair or component-level electronics repair.

  • Experience with mechanical assembly, equipment maintenance, or troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Oracle, Tulip, or Microsoft Office.

  • Experience working in a quality-controlled or ISO-regulated environment.
