Maintenance Technician II

Location: Goodfield, IL

Pay: $26-$30/hour (based on skills and experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Shift: Day Shift

About the Role

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician II to help keep equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working independently.

A Day in the Life

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using CMMS software
  • Inspect equipment and identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs
  • Respond to maintenance requests and help minimize downtime
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to support daily operations

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facility environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA, EPA, or other maintenance-related certifications
  • Experience with PLCs, building automation systems, or industrial controls
  • Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and using power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the maintenance field
