Maintenance Technician II | Sol38 by Liv

As a Maintenance Technician II at Sol38, you'll play a critical role in creating an exceptional living experience for our residents through quality service, meaningful relationships, and pride in your craft. 

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll help ensure that Sol38 remains a place residents are proud to call home by:

• Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
• Assisting with apartment turns and make-ready processes
• Performing preventive and seasonal maintenance
• Maintaining grounds, amenities, and common areas
• Conducting safety inspections and identifying potential hazards
• Providing outstanding customer service during resident interactions
• Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure property goals are achieved
• Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or related experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Type I & II or Universal Certification
• Pool certification
• Prior multifamily housing experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
