The Maintenance Technician III oversees and performs highly specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on complex facilities and systems. This role involves managing maintenance projects, training technicians, and ensuring the reliability of critical systems.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialized maintenance and repair tasks on advanced mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.

  • Create and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to enhance system reliability.

  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure high-quality service and compliance with contracts.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.

  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.

  • Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Experience with safe use of tools and equipment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, electrical).

  • Extensive experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

  • Advanced proficiency with Computerized Maintenance. Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Experience working with hand and power tools.

  • Ability to drive a forklift.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to work on-site.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift.

  • Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment.

  • Ability to work in potentially hazardous or loud environments.

  • Ability to travel as required.
