Labcorp is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join its Invitae Genetics team in San Francisco, CA.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on building support systems' equipment and troubleshoot problems, including carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
  • Conduct routine inspections on all utility equipment and ensure compliance with all requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee systems that include heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, water purification, air filtering, and electrical systems.
  • Calibrate and adjust boilers, controls, and water softeners to ensure optimal operation.
  • Installation and alteration of modular furniture, light bulbs, cabinet doors, and bulletin boards.
  • Provide and add corrections to Standard Operating Procedures and assist personnel in evaluating new equipment or technology.
  • Help coordinate and oversee vendor activities onsite.
  • Maintain accurate records for reporting and Audits.
  • Occasional off-hours work as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 10 years or more facilities experience
  • 2 years or more experience working in a regulated environment, such as clinical laboratory, healthcare, or life sciences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or prior Invitae/Labcorp facilities experience

Additional Job Standards:

  • Familiarity with facilities ticketing systems
  • Understanding of building systems and preventative maintenance programs
  • Experience supporting projects or workplace operations
  • Use of standard tools (Hammer, socket wrench, saws, etc.).
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, dollies, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
  • Occasional after-hours or emergency response support may be required

Pay Range: $25.00 - $42.00 / hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
