Maintenance Technician

HireLevel is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client in Indianapolis, IN!

Job Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Indianapolis, IN

Shift (C Shift – Days):
5:30 AM – 5:30 PM- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday

Shift (D Shift – Nights):
5:30 PM – 5:30 AM- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday

Compensation: $30–32 per hour

Responsibilities for Maintenance Technicians:

• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and piping systems
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting up to 480V
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Disassemble and repair equipment as needed
• Support food-grade (HACCP) safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements for Maintenance Technicians:

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience required
• 80% mechanical / 20% electrical maintenance experience required
• Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must meet background check and drug screen requirements
